Hello, I'm Cassandra.
I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and an Acute Care Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, but more importantly, I'm a mom of two who understands that life can feel overwhelming sometimes.
I became a nurse practitioner to provide compassionate, personalized mental health care for women, older adults, and the families who care for them. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, postpartum changes, burnout, memory concerns, or the challenges of caring for an aging loved one, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and understood.
One of the things that makes my approach unique is my background in both acute care medicine and psychiatry. Mental health and physical health are deeply connected, and symptoms such as anxiety, changes in mood, confusion, memory loss, or sleep problems don't always have a single cause. My experience allows me to thoughtfully evaluate the whole picture, recognize when medical factors may also deserve attention, and work collaboratively with your healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
I have a special passion for helping people who live with anxiety—especially health anxiety. I understand how frightening physical symptoms can feel and how exhausting it is to constantly wonder if something is wrong. My goal is to help you feel informed, reassured, and empowered while developing practical strategies that allow you to regain confidence in your daily life.
I also have a deep commitment to caring for older adults and supporting the people who love them. Navigating dementia, delirium, depression, anxiety, or behavioral changes in an aging family member can feel overwhelming. You don't have to navigate those challenges alone. I'm here to support both patients and caregivers with compassion, education, and individualized treatment.
Above all, I believe everyone deserves a provider who listens without judgment, explains things in a way that makes sense, and creates a treatment plan that feels realistic and personalized.
Thank you for being here. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward mental wellness—through every stage of life.
